Heats up fast. I had surgery in late March and this has been useful for my pain in the back. I do wish it had a little more weight to it. It is exceptionally light.
Wonderful size and a good substitute for the hot pad my wife used for years. If this lasts as long, then it would be a treasure. The cover is soft and of much better quality than the plastic cover of the design we owned. Its soft qualities implies additionally a lot more versatile and can contour to the body better. In general, a good acquisition.
I purchased this for my spouse as she has chronic pain and heating pads help. The previous pad quit working so it was time for a new one. I considered all the heating pads of this kind available. This one stood out as having a high temperature 9 degF greater than other pads.
Thus far it's excellent right size for neck shoulder & back. shutoff feature is very good.
